How I saved $85,000! – Random Chatter

August 27th, 2009

I happen to run in to an old acquaintance of mine yesterday, and he told me a great way to write off nearly all of the money due to the IRS. (In other words, he told me how I can utilize the law in order to support the growth of our economy, and drop my tax payment down from $113,000 and change, down to 20k.) He recommended Oil & Gas Investments. Apparently, (and my CPA confirmed), you can write-off 85% of my initial $100k investment this year, which chopped off $85 Grand ($85,000 US). A nice chunk of change! So instead of giving my money to the government, I invested into Oil and Gas opportunities and its almost like getting free chips in Vegas. The money is gone either way you look at it, I may as well invest into a program that has potential to earn a 3 – 5 time multiple over the projects lifetime (approx 5 – 12 years).

I just wanted to share this knowledge with everyone so that if you have tax issues, this might be a very viable solution. If you comment with your email, or email me at (myfirstname){at}mitchngo.com, I can tell you which project I am involved in, but I encourage you to do your own research and find the opportunity that is best for you.

ALSO!

Apparently, Google has manually removed my site from their blogosphere search engine. Unbelievable. While our project website, GNU Technologies and our weekly CMS updates pages are both referenced at the top, my main website, is nowhere to be found. WHEN SEARCHING FOR MY NAME! Perhaps because the keywords have appeared too many times on the site, but there is no way around that when that is what my site is about!

I’ve followed Google’s guidelines on SEO tips, and still find myself being shunned by them. Tsk, tsk. It seems that it doesn’t matter what you do, Google is biased. And the bias is quite obvious, if you search for my name, 99 times our of 100, government sites are listed above my own. This is absolutely ridiculous! I don’t care if the other results are there, but this is MY page about ME, I have done more work than ANY other Mitch Ngo out there, and yet, Google still decides to make me look like a bad guy. I don’t like it. We still need developers for Priva CMS, check previous posts for more information, as well as Mitch-Works.

Mitch Ngo Reveals Priva CMS’s Secret

August 23rd, 2009

Welcome back Mitch Ngo Followers!

Today, Mitch is going to unveil the secret behind his Priva CMS strategy. We are in desperate need of of developers, so please, contact privacms{at}mitchngo.com to join the development team!

The secret, Mr. Ngo says, is that we will be taking apart wordpress, improving its coding to ensure less calls to php{4,5}, less queries on the SQL database (faster load times) and enabling “Special Pages” which utilizing the existing “pre-fab” templates wordpress contains, except you will be able to write fully functional applications (or mini-apps) within the original software design, instead of having to create your own template.

Also, Mitch Ngo has noticed that when running multiple Wordpress installs on a single shared hosting account, it tends to slow down ALL of the websites. This is why it is crucial to update the way the Wordpress engine functions. Unfortunately, this will not (at least at first) be merged into the WP Tree, it will be a separate project, Priva CMS. Priva CMS aims to have all of the functionality of the aforementioned software along with the capabilities of raw PHP and Smarty.

Thank’s for reading.

Best regards,

Mitch Ngo

Mitch Ngo unveils new project: Priva CMS!

August 16th, 2009

On Saturday, August 15th, Mitch Ngo, along with Mitch Ngo.com are unveiling a new technology called Priva.

Priva, Mitch Ngo.com is a CMS system designed to utilize the best features of both Wordpress and Joomla, ultimately aiming to be as easy to use and publish as wordpress, but with maximum power, plugin engine based off wordpress (aka wordpress plugins should be compatible), but without the limitations of Wordpress. Even though its simple to configure, style, and post pages in wordpress, it is more difficult to write dynamic pages, and making templates, or themes is clumsy and cluttered.

GNU Technologies has been launched, with Priva as its star product. It is likely going to be GPL v2 (or 3) and will focus on making it easy for trusted publishers to write dynamic pages, such as forms, shopping carts, etc, while still keeping normal publishers from including code in their pages which is a very dangerous security risk. Mitch Ngo recognizes the importance of these features which is where he first got the idea in the first place.

If you are interested in learning more about Priva, or want to be a part of the development team, send us an email at: Priva@Mitch Ngo.com and we will reply within one (1) business day.

Once again thanks from Mitch, and everyone else here at Mitch Ngo.com!
