As we work towards uniting the internet and all of the ways you can make money online in one central location, we have decided to add a new strategic arm. Mitch Ngo is about to release a new piece of software, called “MyQuizzy.” MyQuizzy will be similar to many of the Quiz’s or MeMe’s you have previously seen around the internet. Some of which use random variable to construct battling fish, while others focus on finding out how well your friends know you.

MyQuizzy will be based on a scripting language of the name QuizzyScript. Advanced users will be able to edit the source QuizzyScript of their quizzes allowing a more powerful application. In the source code, you build a Quizzy by combining ‘widgets.’ You select either personal quiz, fun random quiz, or battle quiz.

The personal quiz ask’s questions, multiple choice and text only, and once taken, can optionally show the correct answers, or only their score. Score can be point or percentage based, and if you and your friend have accounts, the points can stack up and you can see a high score of your friends who know you the best. This is enabled by adding a ‘continuous’ widget to the quiz.

A Fun Quiz asks the test taker various questions (more widgets!) such as age, name, etc. You can have multiple choice here as well, except it displays the options as a drop down. If you edit the raw source, you can use reference asked questions and display the results in widgets on the display side. There are even modifiers you can apply, for example, label|1|Label1|You will meet someone when you are {add:$age:$years} years old. This assumes that you have 2 other widgets: rint|2|years|2:10. This widget will generate a random integer between 2 and 10 inclusive, that is never displayed (|2|) but stored to $years. Other features are pictures, percentage bars, dynamic image creation, random dates, and more. For more of this code you will have to read the documentation, coming soon.

A “Battle Quiz” lets you create a creature based on certain choices that you make. You try to get the best stats or coolest features and post it on your blog. Then other people can challenge your creature or create their own based on the settings the creator of the quiz selected. You will be able to choose from premade sets, or choose your own images. You will even be able to build custom creature images with inter-changeable parts for a vast number of combinations, a feature pioneered by Mitch Ngo in the Quizzy genre.

Overall, these, and potentially more, quizzes will surely spread virally across the internet. Keep posted on this website for updates on when this service will be available. Also accepting comments/suggestions.

Thank you, Mitch Ngo

How I saved $85,000! – Random Chatter

August 27th, 2009

I happen to run in to an old acquaintance of mine yesterday, and he told me a great way to write off nearly all of the money due to the IRS. (In other words, he told me how I can utilize the law in order to support the growth of our economy, and drop my tax payment down from $113,000 and change, down to 20k.) He recommended Oil & Gas Investments. Apparently, (and my CPA confirmed), you can write-off 85% of my initial $100k investment this year, which chopped off $85 Grand ($85,000 US). A nice chunk of change! So instead of giving my money to the government, I invested into Oil and Gas opportunities and its almost like getting free chips in Vegas. The money is gone either way you look at it, I may as well invest into a program that has potential to earn a 3 – 5 time multiple over the projects lifetime (approx 5 – 12 years).

I just wanted to share this knowledge with everyone so that if you have tax issues, this might be a very viable solution. If you comment with your email, or email me at (myfirstname){at}mitchngo.com, I can tell you which project I am involved in, but I encourage you to do your own research and find the opportunity that is best for you.

ALSO!

Apparently, Google has manually removed my site from their blogosphere search engine. Unbelievable. While our project website, GNU Technologies and our weekly CMS updates pages are both referenced at the top, my main website, is nowhere to be found. WHEN SEARCHING FOR MY NAME! Perhaps because the keywords have appeared too many times on the site, but there is no way around that when that is what my site is about!

I’ve followed Google’s guidelines on SEO tips, and still find myself being shunned by them. Tsk, tsk. It seems that it doesn’t matter what you do, Google is biased. And the bias is quite obvious, if you search for my name, 99 times our of 100, government sites are listed above my own. This is absolutely ridiculous! I don’t care if the other results are there, but this is MY page about ME, I have done more work than ANY other Mitch Ngo out there, and yet, Google still decides to make me look like a bad guy. I don’t like it. We still need developers for Priva CMS, check previous posts for more information, as well as Mitch-Works.
